Nagoya Hotel Accomodation
Hotels in Nagoya are mainly concentrated in the area around Nagoya Station (Meieki), Nagoya's entertainment districts of Sakae, Nishiki and Fushimi and in the streets connecting Nagoya Station to the Fushimi/Nishiki/Sakae area. Fushimi is a short hop on the subway from Meieki, which also connects by JR with Kanayama Station.
Nagoya Station is a growing business center with a number of new high-rise buildings set amid hundreds of restaurants, bars and cafes. Sakae is Nagoya's main shopping and entertainment district, while Fushimi and Nishiki a few blocks west have a slightly quieter atmosphere.
Another cluster of hotels surrounds Kanayama Station to the south west of the city.
The Westin, one of Nagoya's best hotels, is near the moat of Nagoya Castle with views of the castle across the water.
The Comfort Hotel is situated at Chubu International Airport about 30 minutes south of the city by Meitetsu train.
