The new Linimo line was built from Fujigaoka Station on the Higashiyama Line of the Nagoya subway out to the Expo site (now Ai-Chikyuhaku Kinen Koen). The Linimo is a Maglev (magnetic-levitated) train with nine stations and was the first such urban Maglev service.
