Mt. Nasu (那須) in Tochigi Prefecture in northern Japan is an active volcano at 1,917m and an area of famous hot springs (onsen) - the so-called "Seven Spas of Nasu." Mt. Nasu is also a favorite among hikers with a number of trails on its slopes. A ropeway goes up to near the summit of Mt. Nasu.
