Yokohama Chinatown Lanterns
Yokohama's Chinatown (横浜中華街) is the biggest in Japan and grew quickly after Yokohama's port was opened to foreign trade in 1859. Full of Chinese restaurants and shops, Yokohama China has four Chinese-style gates and a Chinese temple. There are other Chinatowns in Nagasaki and Kobe, both former treaty ports.
