Kobe Port Tower (神戸ポートタワー) is a symbol of the city and located near the water front in Meriken Park. The red 108m-high lattice-work tower was constructed in 1963, has an observation deck and is illuminated at night. To get to Kobe Port Tower take a train to Minato Motomachi Station on the Kobe Subway Kaigan Line.
