Mount Gozaisho in Mie Prefecture rises to a height of over 1200m. The mountain is a tough, steep climb or ride Asia's longest cable car to get to the summit for incredible views. Gozaisho takes between 2 or 3 hours to climb depending on your level of fitness and the mountain slopes are known for their rare flowers. The area around the foot of the mountain is famous for its many onsen spas. Access is by car or train from Yokkaichi in Mie Prefecture.
