SCMAGLEV and Railway Park, Nagoya リニア 鉄道館
The SCMAGLEV and Railway Park in the Nagoya Port area of Nagoya is dedicated to Japanese trains and opened in March 2011. The SCMAGLEV and Railway Park is one of the most popular museums in Nagoya especially for families with kids.
The SCMAGLEV and Railway Park includes lots of fun gadgets including iPad-type information screens, as well as bullet train simulators, normal train simulators and the largest model railway set in Japan.

There are sections specializing on the history of the railways in Japan, the development of the shinkansen and a relics room including historic station clocks, station signs, tickets and railway staff uniforms.
Other exhibits include a superconducting Maglev room, where visitors can learn about the science behind a maglev train.
Visitors can also enjoy a kids' playroom, restaurant, theater and shop.
SCMAGLEV and Railway Park Access
Hours: 10am-5.30; closed Tuesdays, except when a national holiday falls on Tuesday.
Admission: 1000 yen for adults; children 500 yen; extra charge for simulators.
SCMAGLEV and Railway Park is on the other side (east) of Kinjofuto Station from Legoland Japan, which opened in 2017.
