Airport Limousine Buses To & From Centrair
Trains to Chubu International Airport (Centrair) can be very crowded in the mornings (with both travelers to the airport and ordinary commuters) and you may well have to stand on trains other than the μ sky Rapid Limited Express which is reserved seating only (no standing).
If you have lots of luggage and don't want to take the train, Meitetsu and its affiliates operate a number of limousine buses to and from Nagoya, Okazaki, Fukui, Shizuoka, Shimizu, Gifu, Mie, Toyota and Toyohashi to Centrair.
Another alternative is to reserve a taxi for your transfer to or from Chubu International Airport (Centrair) with an English, French or Chinese speaking driver. Taxis or small vans can be hired for up to 9 people.
A Meitetsu limousine bus departs from bay #5 on the third floor of Meitetsu Bus Center 3F for Centrair. It calls at Fushimi-cho in Fushimi, the Nagoya Hilton Hotel, Nagoya Kanko Hotel, Nishiki Dori Hommachi, bay #9 at Oasis 21 Bus Center in Sakae and the Nagoya Tokyu Hotel before proceeding to Centrair.
Journey time is approximately 90 minutes and the fare is 1200 yen for adults and 600 yen for children. IC smart cards such as the manaca, PASMO and Suica are all accepted.
There are departures from Meitetsu Bus Center at 6.20am, 7.20am, 8.20am, 9.20am, 10.20am, 11.20am, 12.20pm, 1.20pm, 2.20pm, 3.20pm, 4.20pm, 5.20pm, 6.20pm and 7.20pm.
From Centrair buses for Nagoya Meitetsu Bus Center leave at 9.15am, 10.15am, 11.15am, 12.15pm, 1.15pm, 2.15pm, 3.15pm, 4.15pm, 5.15pm, 6.15pm, 7.15pm, 8.15pm, 9.15pm and 10.15pm.
From Toyota-shi Station in Toyota Meitetsu buses run to Centrair calling at Toyota motomachikojo-mae, Tomei-Toyota, Tomei-Miyoshi, Tomei-Nisshin, Toyota honsha, Mikawa Toyota Station, Obayashi and Tomei-Kamigo. The fare is 1,750 yen for adults from Toyota-shi Station. IC smart cards such as the manaca, PASMO and Suica are all accepted.
From Toyota-shi Station there are departures at 5.05am, 5.35am, 5.55am, 6.15am, 6.35am, 7.15am, 8.35am, 9.15am, 10.15am, 11.15am, 12.15pm, 1.15pm, 2.15pm, 3.15pm, 3.35pm, 4.15pm, 5.15pm and 6.15pm.
From Centrair buses leave for Toyota at 8.05am, 8.35am, 9.35am, 10.35am, 11.05am, 12.05pm, 1.05pm, 2.05pm, 3.05pm, 4.05pm, 5.05pm, 5.35pm, 6.05pm, 7.05pm, 8.05pm, 8.35pm, 9.05pm, 9.35pm and 10.15pm.
There are direct Meitetsu buses from Fujigaoka Station on the Higashiyama Line of the Nagoya subway to Centrair. The flat fare is 1,440 yen for adults and 720 yen for children. IC smart cards are accepted.
There are departures from Fujigaoka Station at 5.30am, 6.00am, 6.30am, 7.00am, 7.40am, 8.30am, 9.30am, 10.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm, 5.30pm and 6.20pm.
From Centrair buses leave for Fujigaoka Station at 8.20am, 9.00am, 10.00am, 11.00am, 12.00pm, 2.00pm, 3.00pm, 4.00pm, 5.00pm, 6.00pm, 6.40pm, 7.30pm, 8.10pm, 8.45pm, 9.15pm, 9.45pm and 10.20pm.
Chitabus Company runs services between Okazaki (Okazaki Station) and Centrair with stops at Okazaki Police Station, Higashi Okazaki Station and Tomei Iwazu. There are departures from Okazaki Station at 5.25am, 6.00am, 6.45am, 8.45am, 9.45am, 10.45am, 12.45pm, 2.45pm and 4.45pm.
From Centrair to Okazaki there are departures at 8.00am, 11am, 12.40pm, 2.40pm, 4.40pm, 5.40pm, 7.00pm, 8.40pm, 9.20pm and 10pm.
Chitabus also runs frequent buses to Centrair from Kariya, Chita Hanto Station and Tokoname.

Trains to Chubu International Airport
Chubu International Airport (NGO) is most quickly reached by the μ sky Rapid Limited Express train operated by Meitetsu Railways from Kanayama Station and Meitetsu Nagoya Station to Chubu Kokusai Kuko Station.
Arriving in Nagoya from the airport at Meitetsu Nagoya Station, visitors can connect by underground passageway to JR Nagoya Station and the shinkansen to Tokyo and Kyoto in about 5-10 minutes on foot.
The Rapid Limited Express Train takes 28 minutes to Nagoya Station (820 yen). Change here for the JR Tokaido shinkansen (bullet train) line, the ordinary JR line, the Kintetsu Line, the Aonami Line, or the Nagoya subway.
