Kansai Wide Area Pass
The Kansai Wide Area Pass is a 5-day rail pass offered by JR West to non-Japanese passport holders for unlimited travel on the Sanyo Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka to Okayama) and local, rapid and limited express JR trains in the Kansai area of west, central Japan centered on the major cities of Osaka (including the Osaka Loop Line), Kyoto, Kobe and Nara.

- The Kansai Wide Area Pass is for foreign visitors entering Japan with a "Temporary Visitor" visa. It is NOT valid for foreign residents of Japan or Japanese citizens.
- Reserved seats are not covered by the Kansai Wide Area Pass.
- Can be used on the Haruka Express from Kansai International Airport (KIX) in non-reserved carriages
- The Kansai Wide Area Pass is valid for five consecutive calendar days (from midnight to midnight).
- One use per visit
Where to Buy the Kansai Wide Area Pass
The Kansai Wide Area Pass Exchange Order can be purchased from travel agents overseas. The Exchange Order is then exchanged for the Kansai Wide Area Pass on arrival in Japan.
In Japan, foreign visitors can purchase the Kansai Wide Area Pass at the following stations:
Kobe Station, Sannomiya Station, Shin-Kobe Station.
Higashi-Maizuru Station, Himeji Station, Kinosaki Onsen Station, Fukuchiyama Station, Nara Station, Nishi-Maizuru Station, Okayama Station, Toyooka Station, Tsuruga Station Station and Wakayama Station.
