Shinto priests, Oda, Shimane, Japan.
Shinto priests (神主; kannushi) usually dress in white to symbolize ritual purity, and officiate at the various Shinto rituals and ceremonies throughout the year. Shinto priests can be either sex and are allowed to marry and have children. Shinto priests often live on the grounds of the shrine they officiate at and their duties combine the spiritual with the administrative.
